Pacific Life’s commercial servicing operation offers its clients a customized and flexible approach
to managing, monitoring and servicing their assets and portfolios. Currently the operation provides
systems and processes that support commercial mortgage and real estate investments, aircraft and
aircraft leases, inventory financings and other specialized investment instruments.
Growth of the company’s commercial servicing business has been carefully managed with strict
attention to maintaining high quality standards while creating consistent process efficiencies.
Parts of the operation are organized according to asset type and line of business, in order
to meet the specialized servicing requirements unique to a particular client and/or asset type.
Administrative services common across asset types and lines of business are structured along
functional lines. In addition, Commercial Servicing Operations contains a fully-staffed IT
department which provides application maintenance and development, information security, disaster
recovery and server and desktop management and support.
Pacific Life’s perspective as a direct investor provides the foundation for its general servicing
and administrative support operations. Emphasis is on individualized, detailed analyses by experienced
professionals across all areas. This personal approach is supported by various automated data
processing and reporting applications. Monitoring and preserving asset quality is central to the
operating philosophy of the servicing operation, and the staff is dedicated to maximizing and
supporting the value of each asset serviced. Accuracy, flexibility, creativity, quick response
and attention to detail are core values that are encouraged and cultivated throughout the operation.
Pacific Life services 17 CMBS transactions totaling $2.7 billion* and is the special servicer for 13 of those transactions.
Private institutional portfolios serviced including commercial and multifamily mortgages and real estate, as well as aircraft,
total in excess of $10.8 billion.* The Company is also an experienced construction lender and servicer with a current loan
and project portfolio totaling over $1 billion.*
